I am an ABD PhD candidate at the Graduate Center, CUNY in English and American Literature. My in-progress dissertation is on the relationship between the British Romantics and the American Transcendentalists, with Thoreau’s Walden as a focal point for exploration.
Some of my favorite writers include Percy Shelley, Henry Thoreau, George Byron, Osamu Dazai, Charlotte Bronte, Herman Melville, Virginia Woolf, Ralph Ellison, Laura Riding, Hart Crane, and James Merrill.
Additionally, I’m one of the co-editors of the annual poetry magazine Prelude.
And… I run an independent record label Shatter Your Leaves which focuses on Avant Garde Pop music, and I front and write songs for my rock band No Sky God.
