The “Flow H20 sample is cut from Fashawn’s track Pass The Cohiba from his mixtape Grizzly 3

He is taking listeners back to the essence of rap. Old school beat, old school flow, just basic hip hop

Fash and Ev are both from California, on the very far “left” side of the United States map. This term is also referenced in Evidence’s song “The Far Left” which also features Fashawn and also The Alchemist

"We was trying to be the Queensbridge Cosby's" (J. Cole – Let Nas Down (Remix)) | accepted

The explanation is correct but also is broader. Nas is not necessarily referring to his own family, but to him and has best friend Ill Will. Nas and Ill Will were destined to make it out of Queensbridge as a tandem. But as the next line says, the street life robbed them of that. Ill Will and Nas' brother Jungle were shot. Ill Will died and Jungle was injured. Therefore, they were never able to be the Queensbridge Cosbys

When he says two of his dogs fell, he’s also referring to the twin towers who fell in Manhattan a couple years before God’s son was released

Don’t compare Drake to Cole. Drake is a fake ass rapper who spits garbage. Even though Cole is becoming mainstream Drake never was and never will be relevant

"Astronaut dreamin' we could never come down" (XV – Go On Without Me) | rejected

This line means that he and his friend (who committed suicide in the 2nd verse) had dreams of touching the sky (being successful) just like Astronauts because astronauts are in the sky

She made me smile, coulda had me child

The abusive father was the reason XV’s friend committed suicide

"It's funny how in seconds that all could come down" (XV – Go On Without Me) | accepted

This song is about his friend committing suicide, so this line could also mean that he spent years building a friendship, and lost the friend in a matter of seconds to death

Nas also may be suggesting that his song “Cherry Wine” is a better version of Biggie’s “Me and My Bitch”. At the same time, however, Nas says all respect to Biggie because he is the only rapper that was ever on his level

"And for that girl who never made it home, shot in the dom..." (Nas – Accident Murderers) | rejected

NAS you the greatest ever, from Live at the BBQ to Accident Murderers I copped all yo stuff…can’t wait for this album gonna be crazy.

KRIT is saying that JAY Z was once a rap legend but has sold out with his recent music especially Watch The Throne
