The Family Sign

Released on April 12 of 2011, The Family Sign is Atmosphere’s sixth studio album, containing fifty-one minutes of Slug and Ant’s lyrical and musical genius. This album was number 13 on Billboard 200, and contains fourteen songs along with two bonus tracks.

This is arguably the most personal and intimate album from Atmosphere, putting many listeners on edge. From voicing childhood troubles in The Last to Say to extended metaphors of a troubled lifestyle in Became, Slug teaches us to believe that it’s okay to lose friends, but it’s all about family-especially children- and the time you spend with them.
