Produced, mixed, and mastered by Brighton-based music maven Mr. Simmonds, Rapconteur is a hip-hop retelling of five oral epic poems from the annals of literary history, stretching from 4500 BC until the 19th century, from the ancient Sumerians to the American Romantics.

The Epic of Gilgamesh, Beowulf, the Finnish Kalevala, Chaucer’s Merchant’s Tale, and Edgar Allen Poe’s The Raven all find new life through Baba’s intricate storytelling and wordplay.
