About “Fear Itself”

Casual’s debut album was released on February 1, 1994. It features jazzy funk production from Domino, Jay Biz, Del the Funky Homosapien, and Casual himself. The album spawned the singles “That’s How It Is,” “I Didn’t Mean To,” and “Me-O-Mi-O.” This album is connected to the infamous Hiero vs Hobo Junction Freestyle Battle in 1994 as Saafir is said to have been upset with Casual for not appearing on his debut album after Saafir appeared on Casual’s album. Fear Itself peaked at #108 on the Billboard 200 and #22 on the Hip Hop Albums chart.
