About “Future Development”

Before Del was supposed to drop his third album, he was dropped from Elektra Records. After Casual and Souls of Mischief were both dropped from Jive Records, the Hieroglyphics crew began independently releasing material through their own Hiero Imperium label. This album was released through their website in cassette form on November 18, 1997 and features production from Del, DJ Toure, A-Plus and Opio with a lone guest appearance from Casual on the bonus track “Checking Out the Rivalry.”
