The Preface

The Preface is the first solo album of former Slum Village member eLZhi. Most of the production was handled by fellow Detroit producer/MC Black Milk.

Fun fact: the featured rappers on this album are all from Detroit (Danny Brown, Royce Da 5'9", Phat Kat,…)

Because of eLZhi’s sharp lyricism and great skill in general, this album is considered to be one of the best rap albums released in 2008.
