Dead Flowerz

Dead Flowerz is the fifth studio album by Esham. It is the first album Esham released after he decided to stop rapping about Satan in 1995. This is reflected in the album’s liner notes, which say:

I just wanna set the record straight, I don’t worship no muthafuckin devil. I’m sick of all you playahating muthafuckas saying that shit!! My shit is just wicket, meaning you cross me and I’ll get evil on dat azz.

When a remastered version of Dead Flowerz was released in 2020, Esham wrote:

25 years later… I can’t believe I said some of the shit I said! But from a creative standpoint, this album has aged like a fine wine. So please, sit back and enjoy this exotic masterpiece called Dead Flowerz – my homage to the female anatomy.
