Judgement Day Vol. 2 - Night

Judgement Day is a double album recorded by Esham from 1991-1992 under his Reel Life Productions label. Both Vol. 1-Day and Vol. 2-Night were released simultaneously. Their catalog numbers are RLP1006 and RLP1007, respectively.

While 2Pac’s All Eyez On Me is often regarded as the first true double album in rap, Esham accomplished this four years earlier.

Only DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince’s 1988 release He’s the DJ, I’m the Rapper predates both Esham and 2Pac. However, that album was only required to be pressed on two vinyl records due to length and was edited to fit on one CD.

Judgment Day was purposely recorded in two volumes, as two distinct, original albums.
