D-Sides was Gorillaz' 2007 follow up to their wildly successful Demon Days, which released a little over two years earlier. D-Sides is often overlooked for being a compilation album containing B-Sides and Remixes from Demon Days, and it didn’t get much attention from media or online, despite having a whopping 2 hours of new content packed into 2 CDs.
The head on the cover is a representation of Pazuzu, the demon that possessed Reagan in The Exorcist.
