Writing On The Wall

Writing on the Wall is a mixtape by Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane and hosted by DJ Holiday. It was Gucci’s first officially released project since his release from jail in mid-March 2009. The tape includes features from Nicki Minaj, Busta Rhymes, Plies, Tity Boi, and Big Boi, among others. Fan-favorite Gucci tracks such as “First Day Out” and “Wasted” are featured on the mixtape.

Writing on the Wall is often considered as one of Gucci’s best mixtapes of all time, and it marked a pivotal in his popularity in the hip-hop scene. A sequel to the tape, aptly titled Writing on the Wall 2, was released on July 5, 2011.
