Top 5 Dead Or Alive is the fourth studio album by Yonkers emcee Jadakiss, released on the 20th of November 2015 through D-Block Records and Def Jam Recordings. The album is supported by singles “Jason” and “Ain’t Nothing New”. It features Nas, Styles P, Puff Daddy, Wiz Khalifa and Lil Wayne.
The album marked his first effort in terms of a solo project in six years, the previous being The Last Kiss: in an interview with The Huffington Post, he implied the delay was partly due to his attempts to lose weight, alongside re-situating his family life. To build anticipation, T5DOA was promoted by a well-received freestyle mixtape, featuring The Fabulous , Rick Ross and The LOX.
It earned a consensus of positive reviews across the board, with particularly strong appreciation from HipHopDX and HotNewHipHop.
