A Jagged Era

A Jagged Era is the Atlanta-based R&B group’s debut album, released on Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def record label, with Dupri producing most of the tracks on the album.

The album peaked at #15 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, and #104 on the Billboard 200 chart, and is certified Gold. In a February 2010 Pitchfork article, A Jagged Era was listed as 2009’s best-selling album in cassette format.

A Jagged Era’s spawned two singles: its lead single “The Way You Talk” peaked at #65 on the Hot 100 chart, and “I Gotta Be” which peaked at #23.
