JBeez wit the Remedy

After witnessing the popular and critical success of Native Tongues Collective compatriots De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest, the Jungle Brothers decided to reinvent their sound. Abandoning the simple production of their first two albums, they created a host of frenzied, experimental songs which were rejected by their record company. The final J. Beez Wit The Remedy album mixed a handful of the odd soundscapes with some more conventional songs, which were still more dense and sample-heavy than their past productions. The album unfortunately performed very poorly, and the group returned to a more conventional style in later releases.
