Thug Mentality 1999

Thug Mentality 1999 is Krayzie Bone’s first solo album. It was released on April 6, 1999 on Mo Thugs Records, Ruthless Records, and Relativity Records. The album was released as a double disc set and sold 137,357 copies in its first week on the shelves, and debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Krayzie Bone wrote and recorded over 150 songs for the album, of which thirty-eight were used. The album featured a large selection of guest appearances, including Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Mariah Carey, The Marley Brothers, Big Pun, Fat Joe, Cuban Link, Gangsta Boo, E-40, 8 Ball & MJG, Kurupt, Treach and Snoop Dogg.
He released two singles from the album: Thug Mentality and Paper.

Thug Mentality 1999 was certified platinum in the same year it was released. At present, the album is still not available on iTunes.
