Ludaversal

After a break of 5 years, Ludacris returns with Ludaversal, his 8th studio album. With production from Mike WiLL Made It, David Banner and Just Blaze, the record is incredibly accessible, as Ludacris allows his personality to come to the fore, wearing his heart on his sleeve and placing honesty above all else. As he told Rolling Stone:

Not everything has to be so goddamn hard and gangster. We all have a sense of humor, it’s just that 90 percent of rappers don’t show that side.

Peaking at number 3 on the US Billboard 200, the album sold relatively world considering the market, although it’s his only album not to be certified Gold in the US.
