Thugged Out: The Albulation

Thugged Out: The Albulation, is the debut solo album from Luniz member Yukmouth released November 3, 1998 on Rap-A-Lot Records. A double set album recorded within two years, Thugged Out sees Yukmouth take a different approach lyrically than on the Luniz albums. The subject matter is more darker and introspective with songs detailing Yuk’s personal struggles growing up in Oakland. Yuk also takes on a more ferocious delivery as opposed to his more comical/whimsical style on the Luniz records.
