KK from 2nd II None, fellow rapping Pirus that grew up with Quik

unlike his partner D, KK for the most part has been in good graces with Quik. Any past transgressions were resolved and Quik featured KK on his latest album Book of David

another DJ Quik associate from LA. They have worked together since Quik started making music. You may recognize him as the guy who is in the rap battle scene in “Malibu’s Most Wanted”

Playa Hamm also from the LA area and grew up around Quik, was part of the Penthouse Players Clique that helped jumpstart Quik’s career. Hamm has been with Quik before he had a record deal and they still have a healthy relationship to this day.

Tree Top Pirus are known for wearing Burgundy and Gray as their main gang affiliation colors.

AMG is another rapper from LA who grew up around Quik and became close friends with him. AMG style rivals Too Short for most graphic rapper as he specializes in rapping about sexual encounters.

Refers to the Olde English 800 forty ounce malt liquor that became popular among urban America in the 80’s due to its cheap price and decent alcohol quality.

The Original Blood and Crip gangs originated in LA after the Black Panthers dissolved. The gangs are now widespread across the country from Fresno to Texas to New York but mainly for drug trade and not the original causes that spurred the creation of the original sets.

Also there are plenty of other gangs non blood nor crip who uses red and blue as their primary colors
