This could also be a reference to the Sergio Leone film, “Once Upon a Time in America.” Robert DeNiro’s character in the film is a Jewish gangster named David “Noodles” Aaronson. People who practice Judaism traditionally only eat kosher beef.

Much of the film took place in Brooklyn, (Joey’s hometown).

In “The Wu-Tang Manual,” written by the RZA, the RZA states that Masta Killa goes by “Noodles,” because of the aforementioned film.
