As is often the case in posthumous releases, this verse had been previously released on another project rather than being original content for the album.
The verse was recorded for the Ras Kass song “Impossible Dream”, a bonus track on the Ras Kass/Apollo Brown collaboration album Blasphemy. The album was released in October, 2014, nearly a year before Sean’s death.
Add that there are lyrical differences between Sean Price’s “Impossible Dream” verse and “Negus” verse.
