Logic is referencing Talib Kweli’s song Get By. The song was also produced by one of Logic’s favorite artists, Kanye West, who he references multiple times on the track. This relates to the next line about Mos Def, who made up Black Star with Talib Kweli.

This is the full title of the album. For months Logic and his supporting cast have been promoting “T.I.T.S.A.T.O.T.M.W.S.T.W.” We learned the first four letters when the album name was released, but now we understand the entire acronym.

Throughout the album Thomas and Kai refer to the album (and Logic himself) as revolutionary influences that changed the world, and Logic reveals here that the man who saved the world was none other than himself with his music, and creation of Paradise.

Reference to Martin Luther King Jr and his wife, Coretta. By comparing the beat to Coretta, Vic is implying his approval to the beat.

Logic feels like a postman because he’s delivering so many messages and songs to his listeners. He claims to have over 1700 songs in his collection, which has of course grown in the past year. Through writing new songs, and experiencing the world from a new perspective, Logic has expanded his knowledge like a wise old man. He then indicates that you don’t have to be an old man to have extensive knowledge.

Continuing from the previous lines, his childhood was filled with fun activities and games. Ducking and shell and throwing fire from flowers are references from Super Mario Bros.

He could go out and play with his friends without having to worry about what’s next. Once he had his share of arcade games for the day, dinner would be ready. These lines display a sense of innocence most children have.
