[Verse 3: Hoop]
Tell Flex to drop a bomb on this shit
So many bombs, ring the alarm like Vietnam on this shit
So many bombs, make Farrakhan think that Saddam in this bitch
One at a time, I line them up
And bomb on they mom while she watching the kids
I'm in a destruction mode if the gold exists
I'm important like the Pope, I'm a Muslim on pork
I'm Makaveli's offspring, I'm the king of New York
King of the Coast, one hand, I juggle them both
The juggernaut's all in your jugular, you take me for jokes
Live in the basement, church pews and funeral faces
Cartier bracelets for my women friends, I'm in Vegas
Who the fuck y'all thought it's supposed to be?
If Phil Jackson came back, still no coachin' me
I'm uncoachable, I'm unsociable, fuck y'all clubs
Fuck y'all pictures, your Instagram can gobble these nuts
Gobble dick up til you hiccup, my big homie Kurupt
This the same flow that put the rap game on a crutch (West x6)
I've seen niggas transform like villain Decepticons
Mollies'll prolly turn these niggas to fucking Lindsay Lohan
A bunch of rich ass white girls looking for parties
Playing with Barbies, wreck the Porsche before you give them the car key
Judgment to the monarchy, blessings to Paul McCartney
You called me a black Beatle, I'm either that or a Marley
(I don't smoke crack, motherfucker, I sell it)
I'm dressed in all black, this is not for the fan of Elvis
I'm aiming straight for your pelvis, you can't stomach me
You plan on stumpin' me? Bitch I’ve been jumped before you put a gun on me
Bitch I put one on yours, I'm Sean Connery
James Bonding with none of you niggas, climbing 100 mil in front of me
And I'm gonna get it even if you're in the way
And if you're in it, better run for Pete's sake
I heard the barbershops be in great debates all the time
Bout who's the best MC? Kendrick, Jigga and Nas
Eminem, Andre 3000, the rest of y'all
New niggas just new niggas, don't get involved
And I ain't rockin' no more designer shit
White T’s and Nike Cortez, this red Corvette's anonymous
I'm usually homeboys with the same niggas I'm rhymin' with
But this is hip-hop and them niggas should know what time it is
And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big KRIT, Wale
Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake
Big Sean, Jay Electron', Tyler, Mac Miller
I got love for you all but I'm tryna murder you niggas
Trying to make sure your core fans never heard of you niggas
They don't wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you niggas
What is competition? I'm trying to raise the bar high
Who tryna jump and get it? You're better off trying to skydive
Out the exit window of 5 G5’s with 5 grand
With your granddad as the pilot he drunk as fuck trying land
With the hand full of arthritis and popping prosthetic leg
Bumpin Pac in the cockpit so the shit that pops in his head
Is an option of violence, someone heard the stewardess said
That your parachute is a latex condom hooked to a dread

Before his opponent pays homage to the legend that is Slim Shady, Hoop gives a nod to the rising MC Kendrick Lamar. He drops a bomb on this rap battle for sure with Kendrick’s “Control” verse; peep it here!

Slickk loves Eminem, and he pays homage to the great MC here, referring to his lyrical massacre on his MMLP 2 single “Rap God” (the massacre begins here!).

Also Hoop quoted Kendrick Lamar’s famous Control verse, the one where he calls out many rappers and tells the industry to step its game up. However in this verse, Kendrick pays homage to the Rap God himself.

The Reventón is classified as a “special edition Murciélago” although in actuality, it was the concept vehicle that eventually became the Lamborghini Aventador, or the Murciélago successor.

(Aventador = left foreground, Reventón = right background)

Only 21 Reventóns were produced, one of which was reserved for the spotlight on the first floor of the Lamborghini Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy. The other 20 were sold, and the limited production is probably a large indicator of why Lamborghini was able to charge over $1.6 million for the machine.

Like all of the other vehicles on this list, however, the Reventón also provides superb performance numbers to match it’s sharp and menacing design, with a 0-60 mph time of roughly 3.4 seconds as well as a verified 221 mph top speed.

This special edition Aston has arguably one of the most beautiful car designs ever conceived.

Production was limited to only 77 units, which was one reason why Aston Martin was able to charge such a high price tag and get away with it. But this isn’t just a show-piece.

The One-77 has “supercar” performance to go with its exotic and lavish presentation. The vehicle can accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour (0-100 kilometers per hour) in roughly 3.7 seconds, while topping out around 220 miles per hour (or over 350 kilometers per hour). Truly stunning.

(It should also be noted that many design cues from the One-77 eventually made it to Aston’s subsequent flagship model, the resurrected Vanquish).

Created in 1953 as a branch of Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI), Subaru was named with the stars in mind. Paralleling the name with the logo, FHI CEO Kenji Kita pulled a name he cherished for a new car manufacturing brand that happens to be the name (in Japanese) of the Pleiades Cluster in the constellation Taurus.

The six stars in the logo thus reflect both the cosmological and etymological aspects of the brand name, resulting in a well-developed and intriguing correlation.

The “blackness” probably refers to the unknown. Having a natural competency for intelligence yet unnatural understanding of our world, we should see our world as mysterious when we wake up everyday.

In the literal sense, although you typically wake up in the morning, there is space out there.

In the context of the piece, DL beings his journey not knowing where he is or who he is. He’s in a realm of obscurity, and through the introduction (leading up to meeting the White Hart), he slowly sees that he isn’t alone, and that he may gradually be discovering himself and his perspective on life.

Aubrey used to have the now somewhat notorious role of playing Wheelchair Jimmy on “Degrassi”.

His skills spitting on the mic are no joke (although his rapping talent is generally either overlooked or discredited), and he can manipulate his voice to woo crowds as well (just see the outro of this track).

This portion of the intro ties into Detroit laying the foundation for all of the humanistic themes of the piece. David Riesman puts it nicely:

The idea that men are created free and equal is both true and misleading: men are created different; they lose their social freedom and their individual autonomy in seeking to become like each other.

Here, Detroit Leprechaun creates the image of virtually transparent bodies, or people. These bodies are generic and transparent, things DL doesn’t go for in his own music or life. No one wants to be the same, yet many people engage in the emulation of idols or of accepted trends, making them essentially irrelevant (i.e. the emphasis on “right past them”). Uniqueness and individualism are two powerful concepts Detroit does believe in, instead of robotic conformation.

DL searches for himself, just as lost as the common people he encounters throughout his journey. There’s nothing more to do in life than self-actualize.

Jillian’s man is being unbearably cynical. He calls her unstable as if she’s insane or eccentric when in reality, he’s the one who’s hurting her and acting unstable. The irony is real, but regardless of that, Banks still feels pain.

“Cut me down” could be Banks mildly saying her man is trying to put her in her place as he believe he should, or he’s trying to pull her down to the point of sorrow and depression because of how he’s feeling. Dark feelings, either way.
