This could be a double entendre:
“Barfly” is a film written by Charles Bukowski, a German-born American poet, novelist and short story writer. DOOM is a big fan of his work as you can hear on DOOM’s Cellz off the album Born Like This.

I always thought that this WAS evidence he wheres a mask like DOOM, “They didn’t know the face” because they’ve never seen it, not to mention the hype man saying “I don’t know what the fuck he is, or what he look like” while introducing Vik
