Kendrick questions those who claim that black people are “in the Illuminati”—and asserts that according to his research, the Illuminati is a White racist organization, therefore logically excluding non-white members.

However, contemporary critical-theory asserts that any (racist) group seeking a state of “collaborative domination” (Illuminati, New World Order, Empire, etc…) would have already modernized in order to exercise control in the modern context. “Fuck the police” of course refers to N.W.A.’s Fuck The Police, while “they gonna have to come and get me” refers to this line from Straight Outta Compton, both from infamous songs off of N.W.A.’s album Straight Outta Compton, which really kicked off gangster rap.

Pimps manipulate the desperation and loneliness of young women in the ghetto. The “now he’s changing faces” line refers to the phenomena where women (or people in general) who go through trauma and emotional abuse end up gravitating towards people who will abuse them further. They end up going through the same painful experiences over and over just with different people because they lack the tools to break out of the cycle of victimization.
