Zaytoven is one of Gucci’s closest collaborators and they have released hundreds of songs together.

Both hip hop artists earned their first hit back in 2005 with a collaboration on “Icy,” and have been honing their trap genius ever since.

Because of this Gucci is loyal to Zay, unlike most rappers, who would ditch their main producer for a chance at collaborating with a hit-maker like Dr Dre.

This could also be a reference to T.I.’s latest single “Dope,” which is produced by Dr. Dre. Since Gucci and T.I. have beefed in the past, it might be a diss at T.I.’s decision to team up with Dre while Gucci is staying true to his sound and only working with trusted collaborators.

This isn’t the first time Gucci’s made a claim like this; in “Actavist” he said he’d rather have a C-Note beat than a Swizz Beatz one!

Here Fetty copies Big Moe’s cadences from the original song as well as referencing some of Big Moe’s lyrics. The original lines were:

Lane switchin' sippin' that purple drank
Screens fallin' rims crawlin'
I guess that’s why the girls keep callin'

The “he fallin” line Fetty uses is taken from Mike Jones' verse, where he states “I’m rising they fallin”.
