But Gaga's over the top, alien-like fashion sense was all her own. Back to Basics by Complex

This may have backfired as this fashion sense became attached to her name, so that now, when most people think of Lady Gaga, they usually think about her crazy clothes more so than her music.

Chopper in the trunk, don't make me strawberry you Ice Cream Paint Job (Freestyle) by The Alumni (Ft. Big KRIT & Big Sant)

A chopper is an AK-47 and in this case to strawberry someone would be to kill them. So, KRIT has an AK in the trunk of his Old School car ready to shoot up and kill (or strawberry, relating to the ice cream theme of the verse), anyone who fucks with him.

There ain't a bitch more dime than me
The thirst is real, she knocking over drinks to get next to me
While you
Chase the Paper by 50 Cent (Ft. Kidd Kidd, Prodigy & Styles P)

Wordplay with thirst and drinks:

Since Prodigy is more dime (or attractive) than any girl, he doesn’t have to chase the girls, they all chase after him. And since he’s such a catch, all the girls are thirsty (or want) him, leading to them losing their calm and accidentally knocking over drinks (which would quench a thirst), as they try to jocky for a seat next to to him.

Prodigy has the choice of any girl he wants without trying, while you need to chase after the girls because you aren’t attractive (as stated by the hook, which the last line leads into).

See I'm a gangsta, you soft as R&B singers Chase the Paper by 50 Cent (Ft. Kidd Kidd, Prodigy & Styles P)

A common insult in the rap game, while Kidd is a true gangster, enabling him to pick up girls with ease, you are a soft bitch, just like most R&B Singers (who are stereotyped as being pussies due to them mostly singing about love), hence why you can never pick up a girl unless she wants your cash.

I'm still a rider, I'm still rolling
A nigga still hold the steel, that's how I'm owning
You chase the hoes, I chase the paper
You chase the hoes, I chase the paper
You chase the hoes, I chase the paper
You're a sucker for love, nigga, I'm money making
Chase the Paper by 50 Cent (Ft. Kidd Kidd, Prodigy & Styles P)

While you’re out chasing and blowing money on gold digging girls like a simp, 50 is out hustling and stacking as much money as possible, like a pimp. This works for 50 because he knows that he doesn’t need to chase the girls, they all flock to him due to his wealth, charm, and good looks, while your ugly ass needs to chase after women to even have a chance at picking one up.

I wasn't in my books, I was writing hooks Real Love by Kolley

Growing up in poverty, Kolley wasn’t taught that he needed to get a good education to become successful, so instead of studying the books for school, he spent his time writing hooks for rap songs because he wanted to become a famous rapper. This shows that he has been dedicated to the art of rapping for a while now.

Also note that this line is similar to a line the producer of this track, Big KRIT spit on “King”, where he states:

The beats spoke to me when the books couldn’t tell me shit!
