The Two Mrs. Nahasapeemapetilons

Apu (in a vain attempt to stay a bachelor) persuades Marge to pretend to be his wife when his mother visits. However, his arranged wife Manjula appears, thus making two Mrs Nahasapeemapetilons.

This episode title is a reference to the 1947 movie The Two Mrs Carrols starring Humphrey Bogart which has nothing to do with arranged marriages, Ganesha or Homer playing at God.

A caption box in comics replaced the old school thought bubbles, around the time of Alan Moore.

“All of a sudden it made everything much more real and documentary. The less that you relied upon captions and thought balloons, the more compellingly real the dialogue and pictures became.”

They solve a similar purpose but are not seen as so cartoony. Captions function in a similar way to a character’s individual thoughts when they are thinking in a movie.

Whereas actually, for the rest of the movie the Stormtroopers are terrible. Roger Ebert called this the Principle of Evil Marksmanship. Basically, if it is not plot relevant, the baddies cannot kill anyone.
