Possibly beginning to reference Meg as an actual person in the song instead of just referring to him using her name. Wherever Meg might end up going, Jack is going to be there, be it on the radio, TV, the internet, posters, concert flyers, etc…
And on a more pompous level, wherever she goes, she’ll always be associated with him…she can’t shake that association.

You can actually call Jack White whatever you want; eponymous, hypocritical, outlandish, whatever. Anything you’re calling him isn’t going to stop him from doing what he’s doing–that train is going and ain’t nothing gonna stop it. Even more so, this train is running on pain pills that block out everything else that would distract Jack from doing what he does.

RiFF is the white Russel Simmons, and he’s going to do some other worldly shit involving Hip-Hop and how Hip-Hop is viewed.

When you develop a habit, there are often times many problems that go along with it. One of the problems that comes along with alcohol is having trouble sleeping at night (if you’re not intoxicated). Mares are the dark spots that you see on the moon, so I’m saying that there these dark craters in my mind, and then finishing it off by saying there actually isn’t any light in my mind at all because I’m a pessimist.
The other way to look at this line is to get rid of the comma after night, and just look at ‘night’ and ‘mares’ as one word. Going back to sleeping problems, nightmares are extremely common when not intoxicated and trying to sleep. And believe me when I say that they are fucking terrifying.
Thirsty Thursday is a common practice in college as a lot of students don’t have class on Friday, Thursday is the go to night for drinking.
