When someone is coming at you with a mask on they’re going to rob and/or beat the shit out of you, and the mask (obviously) is to hide their identities from their victims.
But if someone is coming to take your life, they don’t give a fuck if you know what they look like since you won’t be alive to tell the police or come after them.
French Montana is suggesting that someone with their mask up is just going to run menial errands (hit the bodega, pick up ice) but someone who wears their mask “down” – is trying to spread their Coronavirus to you and thus coming “for your life”.
