“Platinum Plus” was the fourth single off of The Big Picture by Big L. It’s a typical bravado song, but with amazing double syllable lyricism from both artists, and numerous greatly used samples by DJ Premier.

The first beat sample is A Few More Kisses to Go by Isaac Hayes. The sample starts at 0:35 into Isaac’s song, and starts and ends at 0:00-0:17 in Platinum Plus.

The second beat sample is My Funny Valentine by The Stylistics. The sample starts at 0:18 in The Stylistics' song, and starts at 0:18 to the end of the song in Platinum Plus.
