Yovani Gallardo is a Mexican right hander who is one of the most annoying players to own, because he goes on a lot of rough streaks. But as a round 15 pick, why not?

He’s started over 30 games 5 seasons straight, and he will get K’s. Ya he only had 144 last season, but he had 4 straight 200k seasons before that. He’s only 28, so I believe the upside is still there, and I’m hoping for a turnaround year from last year. If not, dropping a 15th round pick is no biggie.

Rule #1: Don’t run on Yad.

While you don’t get any points for defensive play, you certainly do for games played. It is much more important to get an everyday catcher in a head to head league, rather than in a rotisserie league. Due to Yadier Molina’s amazing defensive catching ability, he plays just about every game. He’s played over 135 games in each of the past 5 seasons(extremely good for a catcher).

He is a fantastic 31 year old catcher in his prime. Last season was his best season yet, posting a career high .319 BA, and finishing third in the National League MVP voting. Yad is a solid, unrisky pick who is a lock to provide the goods.

In a fantasy baseball league, it is important to understand the rules, and categories. A new category to me is holds. Setup men don’t get all the glamour that the closers do, and I personally didn’t know many good setup men.

Late in the draft, I had to look up hold leaders in 2013. The top two were gone, but Kintzler and Avilán were both tied for third with 27, so I snagged them. It also doesn’t hurt that they each posted a sub 3.00 ERA.

With my 2014 team, I believe I may have set the record for most accent marks throughout my players names, with a whopping total of 8! On top of that, my Japs are supreme with Yu Darvish and Masahiro Tanaka leading the staff.

I’m going to have a great season, and I’m going to pull a Rex Ryan and call it now, my team is going to win the ‘ship(except I’m actually going to do it).

You know what they say:

You won’t win your draft in the first three rounds, but you can lose it(or something like that).

Missing only 14 games in the past 7 seasons, Robby Cano was a very reliable pick for me. I was lucky to have him on the squad last year, and he was as solid as a god damn rock. I didn’t expect him to fall to me 10th pick in the first round, but I took him with a smile on my face. Second base is a very shallow position, and having one with the capability for 30 homers is a rare feat.

I know what people are thinking “oh Seattles offense sucks they will pitch around him and he won’t get as many RBI’s or runs”. Honestly, how much better was the Yankees offense last year without Jeter, Teixera, and A-Rod? The Yankee offense last season was a mess, and they compare well Seattle’s lineup this season.

He put up great numbers last year, and I fully expect another .300, 25 homer, and 100 RBI season from the second base slugger.

#You’re outta there!

It no longer matters whether the catcher keeps possession of the ball or not, if you don’t attempt to make a safe slide to avoid contact with the player covering the plate, you’re out!

If the umpire declares an unruly collision, all runners must return to the last base they’ve reached.

#Ooh Kill Em'!

Terio is a 6 year old boy who became famous from a social media network called Vine. He is overweight, and Meek compares him to his pockets because they are fat, and stuffed with money. Meek later made a song with title of “Ooh Kill Em'”, which is Terio’s cue to wild out!

Meek’s drug dealing days are behind him. But, he uses some irony here because Cheerios are actually a healthier choice than other cereals. Eating them will help lower cholesterol, which in turn, won’t make you “fat like Terio”.

Terio has actually been training hard, and trying to lose weight. He has been exercising, and working hard with smoking hot model, Valeria Orsini.

Like he said previously in his verse:

You got no clue what I’ve been through

Continuing with the theme of the song with not being able to “walk a mile in someone else’s shoes”, Spitta explains that you couldn’t even walk a hundred feet or to his mailbox. He’s got some big shoes to fill.

As opposed to Eminem, The Rap God, Mac is the rap diablo, which is Spanish for devil.

Mac’s flows are macho (manly), and every time he puts out something new he raises the bar forcing his competition to work harder in order to keep up.

Petey Pablo’s first single, “Raise Up” was released in August 2001, which was produced by Timbaland. It received heavy radio play and peaked at 13 on the Billboard Top 100.

This line is also most likely a response to Kendrick Lamar’s Control verse, since Mac was also mentioned in the verse.

I’m trying to raise the bar high,
Who tryna jump and get it?
