Here I rationalize the Manning reference by speaking as if I’m Peyton Manning.. I do this because ironically enough, I actually have a life long friend named Eli, whom I consider a brother.

Archie Manning III is the father of NFL Superstars Peyton and Eli Manning, as well as their brother Cooper Manning whose athletic career ended when he was diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis… The entire family is also from New Orleans.. continuing that line of references.

I decided to keep with the New Orleans references.. The New Orleans Hornets is an NBA team. They were formerly the Charlotte hornets and used to play in… you guessed it.. The Charlotte Coliseum.

Alot of people consider Jazz to be nothing more than “elevator music.” But I twisted it and said “Elevating music”, as if its innovating and making things better… This line is a play on that and geographical elevation.. as it relates to sea level. New Orleans is below sea level, so it isn’t really high at all… more importantly, New Orleans is considered the birth place of Jazz so it all ties together.
