One of the ever popular Weezy phrases;

  • Wayne’s indicating that he can’t be compared with us mere mortals, he’s from a whole different planet and for that reason there is no relationship to be made

  • Being the only one of ‘his’ kind makes him totally original

  • Neither is he empathic towards us-Martians show no mercy towards the human race, this is why he won’t think twice about eating other rappers

Polar Bears look deceptively cute and harmless but really, they’re the biggest, baddest bears in existence, they have black skin and their fur’s white in appearance but is actually colourless.

BUT has Wayne has confused polar bears with panda bears?

Surely not?? Comparing himself to a mild-mannered, bamboo-eater wouldn’t be much of a boast.

More tricky wordplay: Wayne likely gravitated to “polar” because of the allusion to being “icy cool”, also black and white are polar opposites. Wayne’s known to have bipolar (having relating to two extremities) views of himself; bright and dark, hot and cold.

Wayne’s ahead of all other hip hop artists

Others was mispronounced, in this case done purposely to rhyme with solar. Also done in Mr Carter, Barry Bonds and I’m sure there’s more

Lil' Waynes vice-Promethazine aka: purple drank(in some brands purple dye’s added to it), syrup, sizzurp or lean (cough syrup) was made widely popular around 1990, it was and still is taken, as a recreational drug, to get high or screwed up. Drunk from one styrofoam cup inside another to stop your straw from going through the cup or just stopping the syrup from seeping through and spilling sticky liquid all over ya new kicks…Fuuuck that!

This album (Syrup Sippin' Nigga) is said to be the closest you can get to “sippin' syrup” without actually doing it

A reference to E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, where the title alien said “E.T. Phone Home” to express how he wished to communicate with the members of his planet of origin. Just another way of saying that Wayne isn’t human and that he’s not amongst his own kind.

Wayne goes on in later albums to describe that he is not a human being, in a sense that he is different than other rappers.
