Famous rappers from Brooklyn that have allegedly sold drugs prior to mainstream success: Jay-Z, the Notorious B.I.G., Papoose…oh wait, the keyword was famous.

Contrary to public perception, Danny! is clearly not resting on his laurels but, rather, boasts that he is in the prime of his career.

Why would anyone do that?

A planned collaboration between the two rappers, which had reportedly been in talks since 2007, had amounted to little more than Danny! opening up for Drake two years later. The implication here is that Drake owes much of his success to Danny!, who pens lyrics for him in exchange for money, though the point of a “ghostwriter” is to remain silent about such transactions.

Cocaine is a stimulant (upper) while vicodin is an opiate (downer). The combination of both drugs can quite possibly cause fatal consequences; evidently, Danny! is immune to this.

Roc-A-Fella Records, affectionately referred to as ‘The Roc’ by labelmates and fans alike, was an imprint created by Damon Dash and “Biggs” Burke out of necessity when no label would sign Jay-Z, the label’s third co-founder.

An innocuous tweet from “rapper” Mickey Factz in 2009 led to widespread speculation that he had signed with Roc Nation’s management team and/or label, without confirmation from anyone. Aware of and playing into the hype, Factz wouldn’t publicly deny the rumors until many months later in mock confusion.

As Factz would later discover, holding the above sheet of paper, sadly, does not bestow the words written on it to the recipient.

A scandal broke out in late 2007 when naked pictures of the High School Musical co-star were leaked online. While a suspect has never surfaced, it is here that Danny! reveals himself as the mastermind.

Danny!’s penchant for creating dope music is, apparently, only bested by both his predilection for pornographic videos and his inability to practice discretion when procuring them.
