Acquired from the Houston Rocket’s D-League team by the Santa Cruz Warriors, GSW’s D-League team. Once the D-League playoffs were over, Machado was called up to the Golden State Warriors and serve as the 4th string point guard after Curry, Jack and Bazemore.

Carl Landry was an extremely underrated, important free agent signing in the 2012 off-season. It’s widely believed that Jarrett Jack, his teammate during his time with the New Orleans Hornets recruited Landry to come join him with the Warriors. Landry brings toughness and a solid low-post scoring option. He signed a 2 year deal worth $8 mill with a player option for the 2013-2014 season; Dubs fans everywhere are all hoping that he opts into his contract to join the Warriors next season.

Believe it or not, Biedrins was once a talented, up and coming young center in the NBA. His confidence was destroyed by Don Nelson a few years back and he has never been the same. He’s now well known for:

1. Having possibly the worst contract ever ($9 million to warm the bench)
2. Missing free throws
3. Sitting on the bench
4. Getting paid millions to sit on the bench
5. Did I mention his nasty contract and how he never plays?

RJ was acquired by the Warriors from the Spurs for Stephen Jackson because S-Jax didn’t want to play for Golden State (harsh).

Jefferson has a toxic contract and is nearly useless when he’s on the court, but has been a great influence and mentor to the Golden State rookies. His $11 million a year contract will expire at the end of the 2014 season.

Ezeli was the 30th overall pick in the 2012 draft and the second pick by the Warriors, after Harrison Barnes. Golden State acquired the rights to this draft pick in the Stephen Jackson/Richard Jefferson trade. He has developed into a very serviceable backup center for the Warriors and brings great defensive energy and hustle.

Drafted by the Warriors in 2012 in the second round with the 35th overall pick, Green has been a key rotation player off the bench throughout the 2012-13 season. He is the Warriors' ultimate hustle player. Coach Jackson and many of his teammates have commented on that he doesn’t play like a rookie. Major steal in the draft for the Dubs.

Bogut was acquired from the Milwaukee Bucks via trade back in March of 2012. Bogut is arguably a Top 5 defensive-minded center when healthy; which has not been the case the past 2 years. Bogut was hurt for a big part of this 2012-13 season, but has set the tone defensively for the Warriors in the playoffs with a hard-nosed performance in the Dubs' 1st round win against the Denver Nuggets.

His footwork is cray and he’s a legit passer too. He’s an Australian like big boss “Wolverine” actor Hugh Jackman and was drafted number one overall in 2005 after a prodigious 2-year career at Utah University:

The Warriors first All-Star since Latrell Sprewell in 1997. The NBA’s most consistent double-double machine; a 20 point, 10 rebound game is not uncommon coming from Lee. He’s a solid passing power forward who isn’t known for his defense.

Sadly, Lee tore his hip flexor in the team’s 1st round series against the Denver Nuggets and is supposedly out for the remainder of the playoffs (but you never know!). Lee’s absence has made the Warriors run into the 2nd round of the playoffs even more improbable/spectacular.

Sharpshooting second-year shooting guard/small forward coming out of Washington State. The Warriors were able to trade Monta Ellis because of the emergence of Klay. Also, Thompson never shows any emotion, ever.

Klay was a tumultuous pick (if you will) as his career at Wazoo, literally, ended with him apologizing to the student body for his arrest on marijuana possession.…

But Klay, the son of Laker favorite Mychal Thompson, was the 11th overall pick in the 2011 draft and has persevered into a solid NBA pro, averaging 16.4 points per game in the 2012-13 season and shooting over the 40% clip from 3-point range, thus establishing himself as one of the deadliest shooters in the league from outside the arc.
