Its continuing the metaphor of the song. I don’t mean to bring up who she’s slept with. But it has been a lot of rappers. “Getting hit” can me getting sexed or hit songs on the Billboard. You can take Billboard to mean headboard on a bed as well.

It is true that the police have exercised a degree of discipline in handling the demonstrators. In this sense they have conducted themselves rather "nonviolently" in public. But for what purpose? To preserve the evil system of segregation. Over the past few years I have consistently preached that nonviolence demands that the means we use must be as pure as the ends we seek. I have tried to make clear that it is wrong to use immoral means to attain moral ends. But now I must affirm that it is just as wrong, or perhaps even more so, to use moral means to preserve immoral ends. Perhaps Mr. Connor and his policemen have been rather nonviolent in public, as was Chief Pritchett in Albany, Georgia, but they have used the moral means of nonviolence to maintain the immoral end of racial injustice. Dr. King makes clear that the Birmingham police, Bull Connor, and Albany police chief Laurie Pritchett may have occasionally shown self-restraint and poise during these protests, but it was not for noble reasons. The only reason they did so was to maintain their public image, so that they could help “preserve the evil system of segregation”. Dr. King acknowledges that some people view his civil disobedience as “doing bad things for good reasons” essentially, but he believes it is much worse to “do good things for bad reasons”, like these men are doing.

This is prime example of a counter argument made in the letter. Dr. King states that is true that the police handled themselves with the demonstrators in a “non violent” way. But then he states that they only do that to maintain the segregation made by themselves and if that means more people will go to jail he will continue to fight for what he believes in even if they try to shut it down.

There is an example of antithesis, he talks about it being “wrong to use immoral means to attain moral ends,” and “to use moral means to preserve immoral ends”.
