That shit separates families. Money separates families all the time. That’s when it comes down to me and my family, I’m just like yeah I know I got money and stuff like that but I’m gonna use it to help out what needs to be done around the house or whatever the case may be. I’m not just going to throw money at you because I don’t want you out of my life, nah. It doesn’t go down like that.

Everybody just thought I was “Ultimate” and that was it, you know? But I was like man, even before that people just thought I was “Threats.” “Threats” and then oh, he’s “Ultimate,” he’s the bottle flip guy or whatever. And then I had to work twice as hard for people to hear me. So that’s when ‘Taboo’ came out and “Clout Cobain,” they was like oh! He’s really good like nah, big god. Ya’ll just thought I was trash, because I had one song that people made fun of so it was just like that. And the song wasn’t even a troll song, the song was hard as fuck.

I used this album and used all my personalities to create this album. Every personality from Aquarius Killer, Raven Miagi, Denny Cascade, Ultimate Denzel Curry and the eventually, Zeltron, which pretty much does everything together to make the versatility and all that stuff. When I did … when they did the outro, that’s from the perspective of Denny Cascade ‘cause it’s light hearted all that stuff. The trippy feel and things like that. And 102.1, if you put … it’s pretty much like 13.

It could be like, “Oh! Something popped. Something finally snapped.” And I could just be like, “Fuck it! I’m done with all this shit. I could just die. Or exist.” Boom! I’m back to my happiness. It could be determined on where you wanna go with your life. That’s like a double entendre on that type of sense, but that’s really going back to digging deep into the person, into your life and what you are and what you’re doing. And how can you make that change. And it could be a good change or it could be a bad change.

The black balloons represents all that pain and aggression and all that darkness into this one balloon and it’s black. It’s black for a reason because that’s the darkness. And then when it pops, it all goes away.

When I’m off the deep end and I’m thinking like, “Man, this is all bullshit. I don’t wanna be here no more. Fuck all this shit. Life is overrated. Why am I living in the first place?” It makes you think about those things, ‘cause you think you did everything in your life already, but truthfully, you barely touched the surface, 'cause there’s a million things, maybe a billion things out in life that you could do that you haven’t tried yet that will still keep you alive and keep it exciting for you to stay alive, right? The adrenaline, to keep it pumping, keep it flowing. But if you’re in a constant funk of just routine and ritual and stuff like that, of course you’re gonna feel suicidal because you’re doing the same thing every day and you thinking that’s gonna be the rest of your life because life is happening now. You don’t see the next day, you feel me? You don’t even know you’re gonna make it to tomorrow and you can’t go back to yesterday because that doesn’t exist anymore. Yesterday is literally like a hour ago to me. You know? You gotta know about the now and what you could do today.

I was very sad when I was creating this album and I was trying to find my happiness. Basically, that was the whole thing of just finding my happiness. And … we wasn’t able to make this song until I was actually in a good place. That’s why I wrote it. “See the vibe very timid, very timid and very sad. Translated my thoughts and feelings, I pivoted to the pad.” I use all that. I use all the traumatic experiences. Everything and everything I was feeling and wrote this whole album.

Suicide is not my mission because I’m gonna keep being stronger. ‘Cause I feel like that’s a easy way out, but that shit’s like, why would you do that? You’re just gonna end up repeating the same thing over and over again because the afterlife, you’re just gonna see the same people you seen in this life, right? That’s basically life repeating itself.

You just gotta make the best of your opportunities at all times because you have many opportunities and you don’t know when your time is gonna be cut short. You have to make the best of it right there.

I went through several traumatic experiences as a child and as a adolescent and I realized I’m thankful that every day I get to breathe and be able to do what I do. So that’s like the realization that I get every day on making records and doing stuff, like, “Damn. I could be dead right now. I could be still in the hood. I could be doing all types of stuff. I could be in jail.” But it’s the fact that I took those and made it into my own personal experiences, so the sky really is the limit because I ain’t being limited from what happened to me. Actually moving forward and being bigger and older and wiser.

It’s a continuation and it’s the story of my life. You watch the Breakfast Club interview, I talk about my personal life and everything that went down with me and the track “Taboo” was basically me, but I just transcended it and made it showing that I could relate.

The paper plane represents the message because if you listen to track one, I was talking about, “Paper planes being thrown on the side of the lawn that said, ‘Welcome to the darker side of Taboo.’” Basically, it’s like me writing this letter and that’s what it is.

It’s like a message back and forth between me and “Taboo.”
