Rubber groove is used to keep your feet grounded, often in working areas where anti-slippery shoes are required.

Ortiz wasn’t the type of guy to stay nice and still with both feet on the ground, but rather the type to rush into fights and get suspended by the school 3 times a week.

A bunch of additional shoes wordplay can be noted :

  • suspension shoes
  • suspended shoes (sign of public school bullying, thus the fighting)

  • No rubber groove on his shoes means he wasn’t grounded, and yet was still suspended as in off ground and punished.

“Suicidal” ties in with the “loose screw vital” in both rhyming and meaning ; he further details his self-destructive persona.

…Wasn’t speaking in French

“Me or more” is a near homophone to “me amor” in Spanish. That said, love/amor could either refer to his past relationship with Esther Baxter back in 2011 who reported :

He kicked the door down, came into the room, grabbed me by my ankles, choked me so that I couldn’t breathe, slammed me against the door…

Or, to the alleged domestic violence he commited with Tahiry around the same year, which was recently brought up in his battle vs Hollow Da Don(2:44:53).

Twisting the “I don’t give a fuck” slogan that’s notorious amongst rappers to add the exception of himself, the only one he cares about.

Fame obviously belongs to the zero fucks given circle, as his writtens are mainly about himself and the life situations he deals/dealt with.

Sharing the truths of one’s personal life on a worldwide scale can be considered fairly therapeutic.

“Rap God” is Eminem’s braggadocious ode to himself and his career. Over its six-minute run-time, he references comic books, throws back to his old songs, and raps crazily fast.

In a Q&A with Rolling Stone, Em was asked whether he felt like a Rap God or an underdog, to which he responded:

I think everything switches back and forth from hour to hour, day by day with me. That whole ‘Rap God’ record pretty much from top to bottom is tongue in cheek. So I mean, do I want to feel like that? Maybe sometimes. Again, it goes back to everybody who competitively raps and does this for just purely for the sport of it wants to be the best. Again, that’s why Kendrick’s verse worked so well because he only said what every rapper’s already thinking, If you don’t want to be the best, then why are you rapping?

This song landed Eminem a spot in The Guinness Book of World Records for the most words in a hit single:

The single ‘Rap God’ from Eminem packed a mouth-filling 1,560 words into its 6 min 4 sec runtime.

However, in 2015, Harry Shotta broke Eminem’s world record of most words in a track. Eminem’s “Rap God” has 1560 words, while Harry Shotta’s “Animal” has 1771.

…,at odds with us,…

Is sandwiched to work out both interpretations (from left to right, and vice-versa) :

  • They’re at odds with the Illuminati in terms of monopolizing skills (the world on one end, and the rap game on the other) which makes them human oddities (geniuses).

  • In Yoda talk, your squad’s gotta be at odds with them to be able to compete since they’re monopoly geniuses at the Illuminati kind of league.

The said earthworms -both the shot out guts and literal worms craving for the corpse- get on him after killing his victim.

A possible interpretation that’s exclusive to the latter, would be considering Wayne’s rapper persona of being a martian, an out-of-here, combined to the “planet” interpretation of the “earth” mention ;
That in mind places him on an outer perspective from the mere human he’s shooting at his own earth/turf, and from the victim’s race/crew he’s belittling as earthworms — a species living in earth (the actual planet in this case). Thus the “shoot you in your earth” preposition use, instead of “on”, since earthworms (his victim’s race to him) live in earth and not on it.

Plays off of the lame/tame theme set a bar above. The “sauce” play is also present on the “flame switch” terms, where in addition to the “passing the torch” idiom (which other rappers aren’t ready for) is also connotative with the “fire sauce” descriptor, which can evidently be applied to his own case.
