Objectively speaking, before I even began to try my hand an analyzing rhyme schemes, I used to be a fan of this site. Now I question how and why the hell I even became entranced by it, lmao this is worse than Vox’s video on “The Greatest Rhymers of All Time”.

1. How does 2-4 lines these guys analyze in an emcee’s verse, tell you anything unique about their techniques???

2. Anybody could do that rhyme scheme (the song doesn’t have an interesting, unique or impressive one, that was pretty basic overall)….

3. Fans actually believe this will make them become skilled rappers. You have to fully study them musically too, not just in the literary sense.

A1. Does he also know later on, Harley Quinn (also from NYC like she is, often compared to having the same animated, bonkers “New Yorker” personality), is being punned on – and the character known for carrying a mallet, but also sometimes a bat?

A2. Jessie and Ariana, thereby aren’t referencing bat the way she is. Rappers often have many ways of saying how they “beat down”, or “fuck up” a track.

B. She’s clearly not Batman, or Robin….It’s a double entendre to how she’s constantly been said to be “a hero to females in Rap”, yet gets praise for “stealing the show” in being a featured artist. By mentioning Quinn, indirectly, it also is a smart way to describe her style.
To conclude this, she only said all 3 characters to refer to her aspects as a Rap artist.

C. So this section of the verse, when viewed this way isn’t so much about sexual innuendos (though it’s has many for half of it), but more about how an emcee expresses the way they rap via comparisons.

Miss his music videos so much, this was creative as hell. The storytelling, concept, etc. and really takes you through his entire career and how he matured, but still kept his trademark humor (The “Bushes” innuendo, takes sometime to get it, really well thought out. Smart way to show how his perspective on women changed too, “Get your own bushes!”).

• I.E., how he just naturally name dropped every album he made, to catalog how far he made it in the game, damn.
