Jay is a Renaissance Man and just great all-around when concerning rap. New school and contemporary artists seem to have wordplay under their belt somewhat, but it just seems corny to him. Along with that, they aren’t the complete package; if they have wordplay, then they don’t have rhymes, delivery, flow, or cadence.
Rap nowadays is more gimmicky and less catering to the truly skillful rappers.

Going along with the Wizard of Oz line earlier in the freestyle, Jay knows that the world is both clean and unclean and people will be both negative and positive in the world. He only wants to push the message of watching out for people who want to trick you.
Having said that, it is smart to avoid things like that; but, it is wise to see the trick and think why they want to trick you. Ask yourself the motive for the deceit.

Bullets are nameless
Gang bangers can usually justify murder by saying they only kill people who deserve it. But what many of them don’t realize is that their actions often have unintended consequences.
While you might aim your gun at a rival gang member and pull the trigger, there’s nothing stopping a stray bullet from killing a family member of his. It appears this is how Vince lost one of his close friends, which is why he isn’t a big fan of fate.
