Another play on words, using the idea that life can put a lot on you at once, it would be a good idea to leave all the problems to the side for the summer

This line is actually paying homage to one of the things I did with one of my friends this summer. For some reason I just decided that every time I was awake to see the sunrise I would put my lighter up and kind of pay homage to the fact I’m seeing another day, and my friends joined in. So if you were around that day, you know who you are!

this can either be swingman or swing, man.
In reference to swingman, it’s a reference to the “here to ball” part of this line as in I’m ready to play, and you (the competition) are still looking for a jersey to even play in.

Secondly though, if swingman is broken down it can be a reference to golf and baseball.

In simpler terms, reaching beyond what’s expected from my grasp.

This is my good riddance to the idea of rain being my sole inspiration. Kind of paying homage to the whole idea of sun, positivity and summer.

A little play on words here, mentioning that although winter is gone I’ve loosened up a lot more since the summer and I’m chill now.

These two lines go hand in hand…. back in the day people used carrier pigeons to send messages and now we use air to mail things, this line is an home to our past and present.

It’s also a reference to the website, pigeons & planes, which provided the sample for the drums of this track “Recess” it was also an honorable mention in their contest for the sample!

Continuing on with before, you heer that life is good/sweet, as well as life sucks a lot as well. I figured I tackle both these concepts in the same line by saying although sweets can give you cavities, I don’t have any at the moment, theres no negative holes in my life.
