Right here, what I mean is that the life of a creative, and the things that a creative individual putting his work out has to deal with are of a completely different caliber of somebody living a normal life. This whole verse is just small insight into my thought process for the past year while I’ve been making this, and these lines correlate to the nay sayers who tell us that we’re living in fantasy world and don’t want to believe what we’re doing is important, because the things they’re doing aren’t important. There’s a whole world out there, and that “9-5 and shallow cash flow” lifestyle doesn’t fit with it. Do more than just enough, cause otherwise somebody else will do it for you.
