This alludes to me talking to this girl trying to get her to stop hurting herself.
I’m searching my own thoughts and feelings wondering if i’m doing the right thing.

The only live twice part here may seem to be an allusion to Reincarnation which is the belief that once you die, you are reincarnated as something or someone else. However, it’s not. This line alludes to living eternally in heaven for the afterlife. That’s why I say Twice and not three, or four, or five times.

Lately though there’s a lot been going on with us and we’ve both been going through a lot of drama. So this line is me saying i don’t think it could work anymore.

I try really hard to be honest with this girl and tell her what’s best.

This girl is my best friend and it’s hard to lie to her, because i can see her hanging on my every word.

This Line is me reassuring her that everything is going to be okay and that nothing has to be permanent. I also use the word “We” Because it also alludes to me wanting to be with her again.

This is me wanting to help this girl and make her feel better with herself.

I also wrote this during a time where I had feelings for her, so I use the word Kiss to show her that I can be gentle but want only the best for her. (Me)
