This question might’ve been directed at the two characters of the story; Eleanor Rigby and Father McKenzie. If they had found each other before the unfortunate ending, they would’ve found someone to relate to, to belong with.

Addition: Sunny’s is a (now shut down) bar in Stanley where teenagers would often purchase alcohol, due to the storeowner being chill as fuck and ignoring the drinking laws
