Het platform ziet vooral binnenlandse namen als Winne, Fresku en Hef voorbijkomen, maar maakt op zijn tijd ook plaats voor internationale grootheden, waaronder GZA, Onyx, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony en Aitch.

While Murs explains there are more women out there (“there’s other fish in the sea”), he also references “Otha Fish” by alternative group The Pharcyde (“the far side”) ― a solo song by member Slimkid3 which has amassed quite the cult following. The group’s debut album Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde — on which “Otha Fish” resides — is hailed as a definitive classic and ultimately paved the way for Murs and artists alike.

Not until 2014 would Murs would collaborate with Slimkid 3. The rapper and DJ Nu-Mark (of Jurassic 5) worked with Murs and Bay Area heavyweight Del the Funky Homosapien on “Bouillon” — a dream come true for the alternative rap fan.

On the first of January 2016, Murs and friend 9th Wonder would actually cover “Otha Fish” for their album Brighter Daze. A music video was released on the 6th of that month.

So they point this article is trying to make, but ultimately doesn’t literally, is that celebrities should be role models. That’s definitely something that should happen in my opinion, but I don’t feel like Twitter is the place to start, or where to expect celebrities to start. (honestly, hasn’t Twitter been dead for about 2 years now?)
