Charles Hamilton claims himself as the God of Music for some reasons:

He was exposed to music at an early age. His mother was an entertainment journalist for the Cleveland Call and Post, so she’d take him with her to events when he was just a baby. He stated his mother always made sure he had an instrument around him. His mother put different kinds of instruments in the basement of their Cleveland home. Also he has stated that listening to other genres of music, being exposed to different cultures and experiencing life helped mold his musical sound.

Charles can rap very good, produce amazing beats, play instruments, make catchy choruses, etc…
His knowledge of music is very huge, that’s why he knows a lot of great songs to sample.

Charles also has lots of songs in which he mentions how much he loves music, especially Music (2008). Here’s a line he uses in the song:

So I’m gonna die with my music by my side

He’s also one of the most hard-working artists I’ve ever seen. He has recorded thousands of songs and released over a hundred projects to date (2013), and still makes music everyday.

Wordplay with Cold / Cole.
In this line, “Cold” is used as a slang term for “nice”, “skilled”…

When Dred Scott claims he is “a king that’s cold as ice”, he’s saying that he’s super-skilled and hard at rapping, no one in Hip Hop can compare to him, he’s the king of Rap.

This is also a play on legendary musician/singer Nat King Cole’s name.
