The argument most people who disagree with feminists present is the notion that feminism isn’t about equality… rather it is a “women’s advocacy group”.

People use several examples – to which many feminists infer that the arguments only attempt to trigger women and/or expose the hypocrisy of feminists via whatabouttery.

YouTube user Sargon of Akkad brings this up in his video centralized around whether feminists believe prostate cancer – a disease that predominantly affects men – is a “feminist issue.”

He brings up an article entitled, No to Movember, which has since been removed – from a feminist who actually states prostate cancer is a “hallmark of privilege.”

These options are quite vague and do not promote a sense of understanding historical context.

Moderators of online communities like Facebook (and Genius for that matter) should better arbitrate between the user who uploads the content and the user(s) who report(s) it.

For example, Facebook could benefit from an option of why the user is reporting a piece of content.

Ironically enough, the context makes this statement even stronger.

Is this a rhetorical question about edutainment? (Yes, it’s a thing.)

Why can’t it be both? After all, that’s what Genius does with their content. ;)

He continues by saying:

No one in the whole world is all bad. Kara Swisher: she’s probably my least favorite person in the whole world, but still, look at all the amazing things she’s done […] Hopefully she sees a little bit of good in me.
