Samir ibn Zafar Khan (December 25, 1985 – September 30, 2011) was the Pakistani-American editor and publisher of Inspire magazine, an English-language online magazine reported to be published by al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP). Inspire is where the Tsarnaev brothers who committed the Boston Marathon bombings learned how to make their pressure-cooker bombs. A citizen of the United States, he was killed in a drone strike in Yemen while in the presence of al-Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki. He was not a target.

Excerpt of the DOJ’s search warrant for Fox News journalist James Rosen’s Gmail account, in connection with the investigation into the leak of national security information regarding North Korea. State Department adviser Stephen Kim, with whom Rosen spoke, was prosecuted as part of this probe.
