Since the dawn of time, the ultimate question has been asked in a number of ways. Why do we exist? What is the meaning of life? Does God exist? What is the origin of the universe? How does the world exist, and what is its origin or source of creation? Why is there something rather than nothing? You can discuss it here.

Chamillionaire and Paul Wall were best friends growing up, so it’s no surprise that they both ended up rapping together. They appeared together on their own mixtapes as well as on other mixtapes as feature guests and seemed inseparable.

Their first album, Get Ya' Mind Correct is a southern classic. Unfortunately, things eventually soured between them and they decided to go their separate ways. The good news is, they’ve since reconciled, collaborated and even toured together.

As mentioned in the annotation of the first two lines in this song, Chamillionaire and his label at the time were at odds with each other, each claiming the rights to the album title Controvery Sells. The label, Paid in Full Records, beat him to the punch by releasing an album with the title first. Since Cham had already begun promoting the title, many fans thought it was his solo debut album when it hit the shelves, but it wasn’t. The album featured several tracks of unreleased material from Cham and Paul Wall, who were also at odds with each other at the time. Paid in Full took advantage of this fact and released the album with the cover below.

The first installment of the Mixtape Messiah series is easily the most notable, as it is almost completely (if not completely) devoted to dissing fellow Houston rapper Mike Jones. Although Pt. 2 was initially planned to be more disses, the beef died out before it was released. Instead, Pt. 2 and on were just regular mixtapes having nothing to do with the beef or Mike Jones.

Trying to sleep when you’re hot (no A/C) is pretty hard and very uncomfortable. You end up tossing and turning all night.

Though, it’s also hard to sleep when you know you have bills to pay.

Time is money, and Nino can’t afford to waste any of either. Hanging out and having A/C are luxuries that will have to wait.

Gumby was a clay animation kids show way back when. Because he was made out of clay, he could stretch out. There were action figures of him that stretched out, too.

To ‘stretch’ your money is to make it bigger; thus more money.
