I never try to write punchlines and I detest similes in favor of heavy metaphors. I’m serious about my craft. Putting down the drugs has helped with that, I presume.

Right around my birthday in February 2012, Ramarley Graham was murdered by some rambunctious cops in the Bronx. He was unarmed but he ran home. Cops took down the door and killed him in his grandmother’s house.

Talking about the pigs, but also, my neighbors used to cook chit'lins pretty often and fugg up the sanctity of the smell in the hallway.

This is me, The Man, talking to childish self. Man up, ya bish. Also a reference to entrepreneurship, and the need to bootstrap – cut costs and invest your own resources into building the business venture.

This is a homage to How to Make it in America, a defining show in my entry to post-millenialhood. They taught us that rent should equal to one week’s pay. I need to make about 500-700 bones a week.

She’s always telling me to get a job. I ain’t got time to be a wage slave!

Last November I got to have a short conversation with Kendrick Lamar. Same thing happened this March with Pharrell. Both were life-changing, to actually build with your idols proves that they’re accessible humans to. Being in the midst of stars lets me know that I’m on my way too.

I don’t have any pictures of these meetings but they happened! haha.

People love this shit haha. To me, this is a recognition that Africa is the homeland of ALL HUMANS, so I’m letting everyone know that I’m working for our collective progression, even if you feel excluded because you don’t know yourself as African YET.
